Financial Aid for Teens
We strive to bring the best and most ambitious students to our program to contribute to our community of creators. We welcome applicants from all financial backgrounds and work to make our programs affordable through our ST.ART Challenge Scholarship Contest and Need-Based Scholarships.
ST.ART Challenge
The ST.ART Challenge is an application-based scholarship contest for exceptional artists in grades 8, 9, 10 and 11 (rising Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors) interested in attending Zip ST.ART 2026. There is no entry fee and three winners are blindly selected each spring to receive funding for participation in the upcoming summer.
Deadline: April 15 at 11:59pm
Need-Based Scholarships
Students demonstrating financial need can submit additional materials to be considered for need-based scholarships to attend any 2026 ST.ART Artist Program.
Deadline: April 15 at 11:59pm
Deposit Fee Waivers
ST.ART Artist Programs does not offer deposit fee waivers for the ST.ART Residency, Zip ST.ART or Studio Camp. If you are applying for scholarships (merit or need-based), no application or program deposit is required as part of the Financial Aid Application. The Financial Aid application is submitted with a ST.ART program registration and a program deposit is not required. To submit to the ST.ART Challenge or apply for Need-Based Scholarships you must submit a program registration. ST.ART reserves a limited number of spaces available in each program and concentration for studio session financial aid recipients. Contact our team with questions.
Additional Information
- Our process is confidential.
- Applying for financial aid will neither increase nor decrease your chances of acceptance into application-based programs.
- Financial aid typically goes to families that are low-income, have many dependents, or are facing other financial hardships, however, we do consider granting financial aid when there are extenuating circumstances such as medical hardship, recent job loss, or a large number of dependents (i.e. financial responsibility for extended family members).
- Our funds are limited and we may not be able to grant every financial aid applicant an award.
