ST.ART Challenge – how do you see summer?
ST.ART Challenge is a scholarship contest for exceptional artists in grades 8, 9, 10 and 11 (rising Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors). Selected through a blind judging process conducted by a panel of guest artists and educators, ST.ART Challenge winners receive funding for participation in the upcoming summer programs.

2023 Awards
1st Prize – Full ST.ART Intensive or Zip ST.ART 2023 Scholarship
2nd Prize – $3,550 ST.ART Intensive or $800 Zip ST.ART 2023 Scholarship
3rd Prize – $1,775 ST.ART Intensive or $400 Zip ST.ART 2023 Scholarship
Submission Requirements
- Artworks must respond to the prompt: Summer
- Photograph of artwork, title, size, materials used and one sentence describing your submission
- Original artworks should be no smaller than 8 x 10”
- Artworks can be created in any medium(s) of your choice
Eligibility
Current eighth graders, high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors (rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors)
All work must be the student’s original work. Only one entry per student.
Submission Deadline:
April 1, 2023 at midnight
