Two-Week Day Program for Artists in High School

Extend Zip with ST.ART’s new two–week Residency.

June 29-July 10, 2026

Build community and your portfolio as you explore future art careers, colleges, and creative pathways. Teens will maintain a studio space while working in their choice of media to develop a mini-series. Personalized daily feedback, group sessions and critiques, gallery visits, artists talks and more.

Fast Facts

  • Two week (June 29-July 10, 2026) day program hosted at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas
  • For rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school (class of 2028, 2029, 2030)
  • Students must participate in Zip ST.ART
  • Students participate in daily group sessions and work to create a mini-series in their choice of media
  • Student maintain a dedicated studio space with personalized guidance from a college arts professor
  • Students attend gallery and museum visits, hear from guest speakers working the Austin arts community
  • Students work to develop artist statements, resumes and more for college and scholarship applications
  • Payment plans available
  • Merit and need-based scholarships available!

Summer 2026 Schedule

9:00am-12:00pm – Open Studio & Professional Practices
Noon-1:30pm – *Lunch Break
1:30-4:00pm – Open Studio & Check-Ins
4:00pm – 4:45 PM – Critique & Wind Down

*Students must bring their lunch each day unless otherwise noted.

Guided Studio Practice

ST.ART Residency is an opportunity for teens to generate a mini-series of work while gaining one-on-one feedback from a college arts professor. Indicate your art making preferences during the registration process and we’ll cater the experience to help you discover and work toward your goals. Beyond your studio practice you’ll investigate the many avenues of working in the arts to help you plan for your future.

Registration Info

ST.ART Residency is a registration–based program.  Registration will be available starting February 1 and close June 15.

Requirements:

  • Completed registration
  • Zip ST.ART registration and non-refundable deposit – required
  • Program forms – due after registration

Tuition + Program Fees

Program Fee: $1500

Includes over 40 hours of instruction with personalized feedback, dedicated studio space, some supplies, art excursions, guest artist talks, and a ST.ART t-shirt.
